Gambling should be enjoyable entertainment — never a financial strategy, a way to cope with stress, or something that takes over your life. 11wln is committed to making sure every user has the tools, information and support they need to stay in control.
Access to 11wln is restricted to individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or the higher minimum age required by the Operator's licence jurisdiction. Being 18 does not automatically make online gambling lawful for Pakistani residents — local law applies. Do not allow minors to use your Account or device to access this Platform.
Responsible gambling means making deliberate, informed choices about when, how much and how often you play. It means treating gambling as one of many leisure activities rather than a primary income source, an escape from problems or a compulsion you cannot control.
At 11wln, we understand that for the vast majority of players — whether following Pakistan cricket, PSL/T20 season, ICC tournaments or live casino games — gambling is straightforward entertainment. The risk of it becoming something more serious is real for a minority of users, and that is precisely why we take player welfare seriously across every part of the Platform.
We do not offer this guidance as a formality. Responsible gambling features are built into the Platform's core — not tucked away in a rarely-visited settings page. We encourage every user in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar and Faisalabad to engage with these tools before any problem arises.
You set a budget before you start and stick to it. You treat a loss as the cost of entertainment — like a cinema ticket or a restaurant meal — not as money that must be recovered.
You play for defined periods and stop when your time is up, regardless of whether you are winning or losing. You do not let a PSL match session extend into the early hours because "one more bet" feels important.
Gambling occupies a small, deliberate part of your leisure time. It does not take priority over family, work, studies, finances or mental wellbeing. You can comfortably take a break from gambling without anxiety.
Responsible gambling means never using the Platform to escape stress, depression, relationship difficulties or financial worries. If you notice this pattern forming, please use the self-exclusion tool and seek support.
These tools are available to every registered 11wln user and can be activated at any time from your Account settings. We recommend setting them up before you start playing — not after a problem develops.
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit into your Account. Once the limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Limits can be decreased immediately but require a mandatory cooling-off period to increase.
Define the maximum net loss you are prepared to accept within a defined period. When the loss limit is hit, further wagering is paused for the rest of that period. This is one of the most effective tools for preventing loss chasing during an emotional session.
Set a limit on the total amount you can wager within a period, regardless of wins and losses. Wagering limits work alongside deposit and loss limits to give you precise control over your overall betting activity.
Set a pop-up reminder to appear after you have been playing for a defined length of time — 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours. The reminder shows your session duration and gives you the option to continue or stop. Losing track of time is one of the earliest warning signs of harmful gambling.
Take a short break from gambling without formally closing your Account. Cool-off periods typically range from 24 hours to 30 days. During a cool-off period, you cannot log in to place bets or make deposits. This is ideal if you feel you need a pause without a permanent decision.
Request a longer suspension of your Account — from 6 months to permanent. Self-exclusion is a serious, irreversible-during-the-period commitment. Once applied, it cannot be undone before the minimum exclusion period expires. Use this tool if gambling is causing you genuine harm.
Self-exclusion is the most powerful responsible gambling tool available on 11wln. If you feel that gambling is becoming harmful — or if someone close to you expresses concern — self-exclusion is the right step to take. There is no shame in using it; it is a proactive, responsible decision.
Here is exactly how to request self-exclusion on 11wln:
Access your 11wln Account from any device. Self-exclusion is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including during PSL match nights and ICC tournament weekends.
Navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gambling → Self-Exclusion. Alternatively, contact support directly and request self-exclusion verbally — no settings navigation required.
Select your exclusion duration: 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanent. We strongly recommend choosing a period that feels meaningful — a 6-month exclusion is a genuine commitment, not a brief pause.
Confirm your request. Your Account will be suspended promptly. You will receive a confirmation email to your registered address. During the exclusion period, you will not be able to log in, deposit or place bets.
After self-excluding, consider reaching out to a support resource. Problem gambling has recognised, effective treatments. Speaking to someone can significantly improve your outcome. See the support section below.
If you recognise two or more of the above, consider activating a cool-off period or self-exclusion now.
These questions are for personal reflection only — no data is submitted. Answer honestly to get a clearer picture of your current relationship with gambling.
Have you ever had to borrow money or sell belongings to fund gambling?
Financial strain is one of the clearest indicators of a problem. If the answer is yes, this is a strong signal to use the deposit-limit or self-exclusion tool immediately.
Do you find yourself chasing losses — placing further bets to try to win back money you have already lost?
Loss chasing is a well-recognised escalation pattern. Setting a loss limit before each session is the most effective countermeasure. If the limit does not stop you, self-exclusion may be needed.
Has gambling ever caused arguments or tension with family members or close friends?
Relationship strain is a common consequence of problem gambling. If your gambling is affecting those around you in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or anywhere else, that is meaningful feedback worth acting on.
Do you find it difficult to stop gambling once you have started, even when you intended to play for a short time?
Difficulty stopping is a sign of impaired control. Session-time reminders and session limits can help. If they do not work, a cool-off period should be considered.
Do you gamble primarily for enjoyment and leisure, with a pre-set budget that you consistently keep to?
If yes to this and no to the others above, your gambling appears well-managed. Keep using deposit and loss limits, and check in with this assessment periodically.
If you or someone you know is experiencing gambling-related difficulties, help is available. The following types of resources exist — always verify current contact details directly before reaching out.
Pakistan has a number of mental health helpline services. Umang Pakistan (0317-4288665) and the Rozan Counselling helpline are among the organisations that provide confidential psychological support. Gambling-related distress is a valid reason to call. Always verify current numbers directly from the organisation's official contact page before calling.
Gamblers Anonymous (GA) is an international fellowship for individuals who have identified a gambling problem and want to stop. GA operates a 12-step programme and peer-support model. Meetings are available in many countries and online. Check the GA international directory for the current availability of in-person or online groups accessible from Pakistan.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is the most evidence-based treatment for problem gambling and is available through qualified therapists in major Pakistani cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. Private and NGO-based counselling options exist. Ask your GP or a general hospital for a referral.
Gam-Anon is an international support group for the family members and friends of problem gamblers. If someone close to you is struggling with gambling, Gam-Anon provides peer support and practical guidance. Check the international directory for current meeting availability accessible from Pakistan.
If gambling has created serious debt, a financial counsellor can help you restructure repayments and create a recovery plan. State Bank of Pakistan's banking helplines and nonprofit credit counselling organisations can provide guidance. Addressing the financial consequences alongside the gambling behaviour gives the best long-term outcomes.
